SAD NEWS ABOUT ONE OF OUR CURRENT MEMBERS.
« on: January 25, 2012, 11:37:21 AM »
 :(
Just recieved the sad news that Graham Robinson has passed away, he owned a chocolate brown 4 door chevy saloon and lived about half a mile from the 8 towers
pub where we meet up. He attended quite a few shows and meets so you may have seen him,his wife usually came along too.

Sad news indeed, his funeral is on the 3rd Feb in penketh, warrington.       I am sure all the details will be posted soon on here.

Yes I heard on Saturday about Graham and my thoughts and sympathy go out to all his family. He attended Southport a few times and will be sadly missed.

R.I.P Graham  :(

Via Tom Gore:

Hi all,
Graham`s son, (Dave), has been in touch with me today asking for an American car presence at Graham`s funeral on Feb 3rd. I explained about the parking space for the vehicles and he said that there is a pub opposite the church with a large car park. From there we will travel direct to, “The Penketh Tavern”, where again there is a large car park. Parking at the Crem itself is very small hence “The Penketh Tavern”, arrangement. Here we will meet up with the family once more after they return from the crem. If you are attending, I suggest that you arrive at the church from10.00 until 10.25 at the very latest, thus allowing time to park up before the cortège arrives. It would be handy if you can let me know if you will be attending so that I can give Dave some idea of numbers.

Thanks Tom.

I spoke with Graham on quite a few occasions, and he lived just around the corner from me.    I will be attending and paying my respects.
